Why do we give so much value to clothing, especially when the clothes transcend the ordinary wash and wear to the fashionable and trendy? Fashion is beauty and it’s a perfect excuse to get the things you want. This is what motivates young designers that aim to become top clothing designers like the big names like Christiaan Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, Calvin Klein, Coco Chanel, and others.

College graduates and young adults flock to this multi-billion dollar industry and take a wild chance on this lifestyle of top clothing designers.  This deliciously glamourous lifestyle (so they assume) is golden until a pivotal point is reached where life changing decisions are reached.

The fashion industry, like many great money-making industries, is a force to be reckoned with expecially if you want to dine with top clothing designers.  Not only does it birth new things, it can also be very destructive.  It is one of the fastest growing creative industries that takes no prisoners.  A merciless monster of a job not recommended for the faint hearted.  Pursuing this sort of a career is not to be taken lightly.

The Heart Of Top Clothing Designers

“If you’re good, you will manage but if you are brilliant, you will stay in the game”, you need to keep at being brilliant all the time.  Excellence and pride is the key, as well as keeping to it.  Maintaining your position and progress is essential to any career yet in here, it can get quite heated.  Hot as hell!

And in this hell, apparently, the devil is the fashionista.  Here, top clothing designers decide what is hot and what is not and from there it gets better, it cools down slightly.  You could either attend a High Fashion show and select items you wish to purchase -that’s if your name is Posh Beckam or a personal friend- straight from the runway as you see it on the models, or if you are not a friend of the famous, you could simply check out designer clothing online in the comfort of your home, office or closet.

How far can you travel the fashion food chain before you get eaten? Hopefully you won’t but in this hellish industry where life-changing events happen in the blink of an eye, it will be a hard fight for you to survive. Here friends become enemies and enemies become friends.

Yes it all starts out fun and glitzy, but at the end of the day you, the young hip designer enters the cut-throat level of fashion:  who would you work for, who thinks you are hot property and who wants you?  To answer these questions ask yourself:  who is your devil and what does he or she wear?  It’s not a hard one to figure out and this industry may not be as hellish as it is made out to be.

Take on the challenge and risk it. So strap on those Chanel boots or walk a while in Marc Jacob’s. Wear that Polo or Calvin Klein and try to survive this hellish industry.
